Does not recognise USB DVD drive
05-18-2016 09:04 PM

My N107NA P0H54EA Energy Star will not read DVD's in either my Lenovo DVD reader or Samsung DVD writer, sounds as if it is trying but does not recognise either drive
Having to load software by copying it to a 1TB Seagate drive then into a folder to run it, is this the only way?
Thanks
Peter

Hi,
Ensure the drivers for your lenova dvd player are installed on your pc via lenova manufacturers site
you may also check the specs of your pc to find the compatiblity:
User manuals : http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-10-x2-PC/8499312/model/9014679/manuals
Drivers for your HP product: http://support.hp.com/gb-en/product/HP-Pavillion-10-x2-PC/8499312/model/9014679/drivers/
once the softwares and drivers of your dvd player is installed, the drive should work fine.
