HP Pro Tablet 608 G1 - H9X44EA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dears,

I have a 608 G1 Pro Tablet witn WIndows 10 64 bits and a Pro Tablet Dock.

I am able to use an external monitor connecting the tablet with the dock searching for a wireless monitor using windows "Connect" option but as soon as I place the tablet into the dock, the monitor disconnects; the other docking functionalities works properly (LAN, USB hub).

If I try to connect again using the "connect" option when it is docked, it fails. At the monitor appears 3 options explaining how to connect for Android, Window 8 and WIndows 10, for windows 10 indicates that I should place the tablet in front of the dock and then into the dock, it is supposed to use NFC but nothing happens. The NFC is activated and seems to be working on the tablet, I tested with different smart cards and at least it beeps

Any suggestions on how to use the external monitor when docked?

Regards,

I don't understand this sentence.  Perhaps if you break it up into smaller sentences it will make more sense.

For example, I don't understand you an external monitor can connect a tablet to a dock.  I don't think that can be what you mean to say.

(I admit that even if I understood your question, I probably don't have an answer.)

Good luck!

Hi,

I have a HP Pro Tablet Dock: https://support.hp.com/ee-en/document/c04775117 that has several ports (LAN, HDMI, USS) so allows the use of an external monitor, external keyboard and mouse.

the problem is: the video connection between the tablet and the dock is using Miracast (Wireless display) not a physical connection, it works very good when the tablet is not docked, but as soon as I place the tablet on to the dock, the video connection is broken.
