Product: HP 7 G2 1315 Tablet

My son's HP 7 Tablet is stuck on the "Erasing" screen. He did a factory reset yesterday and it still says it is erasing today. He has an HP 7 G2 1315 Tablet SN# 8CA44207GF 

 

Any help you can give would be appreciated! He uploaded a Google gift card for Google Play and now he can't access it to spend his gift card.
