I have an HP Elitepad 1000 G2 running Windows 10 64 bit.
For a few seconds, the screen seems fine, but then it flickers for a few seconds, and then it's fine again. This will happen every time the screen is turned on. In about 5 minutes of use, the screen will flicker (go black intermittently) about 30 to 40 times.
The surprising thing is, this does not happen in the BIOS. If I go into the BIOS, the screen nevers flickers, and stays stable. This leads me to believe that the problem lies with the display drivers or IO drivers in Windows 10.
Also, when I turn the screen off by pressing the Power button, and then try to turn it back on - sometimes the screen gets stuck on a green color, and doesn't respond. If I then press the hardware touch sensitive Windows key, it finally shows the Windows login screen.
I have tried to update the driver many times - and have tried every possible driver version. I have also reinstalled Windows 10 a number of times. I have also tried various settings in the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel. None of this has made the issue go away.
