HP Pen not working with HP Envy x360

HP Recommended
HP Envy x360/Pen

I just purchased an HP Envy x360 along with HP Pen and have been unable to get the pen working with the touch screen. Has anyone else had this issue/have any suggestions on what to try? I've swapped out the battery in the pen, the set-up instructions claim all I have to do is "touch the pen to the screen" to turn it on but I see no indication that it is working

Hello @rtgross

It helps to tell us what the full model number or product number of your laptop is.

It can be found in the HP Support Assistant or on the bottom of the laptop (usually).

Or with the computer off, press the power button and rapidly  tap the F1 key until system info appears.

Also which pen do you have? Did you buy it separate from the X360?

Hi @Photoray002,

the model number for my Envy x360 is 15t-aq200 and according the HP website, the stylus pen is just called "HP Pen" and should be compatible with this computer

Where are you seeing this?

BTW: what country did you purchase the aq model in?

The aq200 series is not on the compatability list, so as far as I know there is no HP pen for it.

List...
