HP Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey all. I've seen many discussions about similar issues and followed the advice given to absolutely no avail. I tried contacting HP support and my issue persists. I just got a brand new HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ap0xxx. It came with the 'HP Pen' (no top button, just two on the side, no lights, aaaa battery-powered) and the pen worked (I was drawing with it) for about ten or so minutes, then essentially turned into a brick.

It will not work, no matter how many times I update my software in settings, or uninstall drivers, restart the computer or check updates in HP Support assistant. Perhaps notable is the fact that my Intel Serial IO and Bluetooth drivers won't update. I have no idea why this issue is happening, but i just switched to HP from another brand and I find my initial experience *immensely* disappointing.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
