Alright, so my Stream 14 laptop has stopped charging after I had a problem getting the thing on. I've tried using another charger, but it wouldn't work. I believe that it's something wrong with the laptop itself, but I don't want to take it to a computer repair shop. Is there any way to fix it without really going into the computer or would I need to take the thing apart? I'm only saying this because it has a inner battery, not one that's on the outside.

As you have mentioned that the laptop is not powering on with a working power adapter it looks like a hardware issue and I recommend you contact support to check the available service options for your computer.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with tech support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
