HP Stream 7 Bluetooh driver issue - sp70340.exe

I downloaded and installed the latest Realtek RTL8723BS UART Bluetooth Driver sp70340.exe and after rebooting,

none of my bluetooth devices (keyboard, mouse, speaker) worked and device manager showed an unidendified device and no driver could be located locally or on-line.  It indicated it was some sort of UART device.

I gave up trying to resolve the issue and did a system restore to coorect the problem.

Sounds like a buggy driver - beware!

Has anyone else had a similar experience?
