HP Stream 8

My tablet is NOT charging any more.  It was charging (very slow) until 2 days ago.  How can I get the battery replaced?

As I understand your HP Stream 8 tablet isn't charging,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details: 

Have you ensured you are use the original AC adapter that came with the tablet, or a certified replacement? 

(Using an incorrect AC adapter may cause damage to you or the battery, or may cause a variety of charging issues)

 

While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:

Click here to download the softpaq to resolve battery issues.

 

If the above doesn't work, please check with an alternate wall outlet or adapter,

If the issue persists, please contact HP to have the device either repaired or replaced:

 

HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  

* Open link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

* Enter Product number or select to auto detect

* Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

* Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get a Case & phone number.

 

They will be happy to assist you immediately. 

If the unit is under warranty repair services under the manufacturer's warranty will be free of charge.
