Product: HP Touchpad

I am trying to set up an HP Touchpad...my daughter purchased it new several years ago but it has never been used. I am attempting to set it up for the first time. When I try to connect to my wi-fi it attempts to connect for a long time then gives me a server error message...wi-fi is working and password is correct
