HP active pen not working

I have tried connecting my pen to my HP spectre laptop and in settignit says its connect but when i try use my pen on my screen it doen't do anything the button at the top works and it opens up 'window ink workspace' tab when i click it but the pen doesnt actually draw or what not

Which Spectre do you have- there are many models. Not every Spectre laptop works with an Active pen- not every Active pen works with all models of Spectre.
Post "full" Product Name or Product number of your laptop.
Easiest way to get that info- minimize all open windows so you can see desktop screen. Next hold the fn key and press esc key.

My latop is a HP Spectre Pro x360 G2. The pen came with the latop, and in my settings it says its paired and when i click the bottom on top of the pen it opens "windows ink workspace" but when i try use it nothing happens
