HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

When installing the Windows 10 upgrade to my HP Envy 360 Laptop, the internet drivers disappeared. Microsoft wouldn't help me unless I paid $99. I've been told I can download the drivers from a different computer to a flash drive then upload to the laptop missing the drivers. Can anyone explain how I do that?  I've been trying but it wants to download drivers used on the laptop I'm using, not to a flash drive.

It sounds as if you are having a problem selecting a download location.

Selecting the download location for any file depends on the default download location for the specific browser you are using.

Which browser are you using?  Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Internet Explorer?

The browser I'm using on the laptop is Edge. Even though I put the HP Envy 360,  it seems to want to download what I have on the Surface Pro I'm using.

Sorry, but that is clear as mud.

To change your downloads folder location in Microsoft Edge:
  1. Open Microsoft Edge , then select Settings and more > Settings .
  2. Select Downloads , and then, in the Location area, select Change.
  3. In the dialog box, select a new location for your downloaded files.
  4. In your case, I would suggest turning the ask me what to do with each download  button to on
