How do I hard reset an HP Split g110dx x2 (hybrid table and laptop)?

3 Day old Hybrid Split 13x2 is unresponsive.  Might have been after an automatic update (not 100% sure).  If laptop is open, LED light near power supply connection is solid when plugged in.   If laptop is closed and plugged in, same LED light is blinking.  Was reading in general laptop section that perhaps it needs a hard reset, but don't know how to remove battery and got stuck.  Any assistance would be appreciated!

How to perform a hard reset or forced restart on a split X2.

 If you are able to do a hard reset according to the table in the document of the previous link, then do not remove the battery.   

 

 

Removing the battery involves removing the back cover. Details on how to do that are in the Maintenence & service guide on pages 34-35.
