Spectre X2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How long should the Spectre X2 remain on AC power. I use it almost all day long but don't want to ruin the battery by keeping it on AC power after the full charge.

Thanks

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand, your wish to know about the AC Adapter usage,

I'd like to thank you for the detailed description of your concern, as you have ensured I don't have to ask any more questions, that said,

If you use an external AC power adapter at all times, calibrate your battery often, or when the battery has charged fully, remove it entirely before continuing to work on external AC power. Continuously charging the battery without allowing it to expand its charge can degrade battery performance and shorten battery life.
