HP 4500 G510g
Microsoft Windows XP

I have a Windows XP desktop computer which is connected wirelessly to my home network through my Comcast modem/router. I have an HP G510g printer which is USB cabled to that desktop computer and is shared with the network. I have a Samsung s4 android phone. I want to be able to print documents, pictures etc.from my phone wirelessly through the network and also through the internet.

Hi @brucemon1,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you want to print documents and pictures from the Samsung S4 android phone to your computer.

Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.

This printer is not wireless compatible. You may connect this printer to a wireless router with an ethernet cable and then connect the phone.

You may check the link: Wired Network Printer Setup (Windows)

You may also check the link: Printing from Android Smartphones or Tablets

Let me know if this works.

You have a good day ahead.
