Hi @Ukelle

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the login issue.

To better assist you - May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

While you respond to that, let's try a hard reset -

1. Shutdown the computer.

2. Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.

3. Remove the Battery.

Note - The above step is not applicable for built-in battery.

4. Press and hold down the power button for 15 to 20 seconds.

5 Plug-in the Adapter and put the Battery back into the computer.

6. Try to turn on the computer.

If you experience the same issue after the reset, press Ctrl+Alt+Del.

If it still doesn't work, try a system restore -

1. Shutdown the computer.

2. Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.

3. Press F11 once for System Recovery.

4. Choose the Keyboard Layout.

5. Click on Troubleshoot.

6. Go to Recovery Manager and click on System Restore.

7. Choose a Restore point or a Restore date when the computer was working fine.

8. Click on OK to initialize the System Restore.
