When ever I try to open photos, videos and apps, a notification display on screen" you will need a new app to open this ms-paint".I don't know what to do.

Hello, video and apps will not to open with MS-paint.. If you make a right clic on a files, and go to "open with", and select and other application what message do you have?? 

 

If you have any softwares independent to Windows you can install VLC for videos for example: 

Official download of VLC media player, the best …

 

And for check Windows files you can enter "cmd" in your Windows search bar, and right clic in "command prompt" for execute in administrator. Enter this command and tell me result:
sfc /scannow
