HP Noebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

It was giving me the error saying not enough space. So I went out and bought a SD card to add space. I formatted it to the Laptop and changed where things are saved. But still getting no room to install windows 10 updates. Clicked on fix the problem and brigs up another window.says for me to select or connect external storage. I see my option is already suggested and the next button on the bottom is able to be clicked on. So I want to save to my F drive and I click to help my storage problem so I can update. Well I can click next. But it does nothing. How do I get out this pickle?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

  • Step 1: Run HP Performance Tune-up Check
  • Step 2: Remove unwanted files with Storage Sense
  • Step 3: Remove unwanted programs
  • Step 4: Adjust System Restore settings
  • Step 5: Confirm that enough hard drive space is available

Click here:https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03458013 to complete the troubleshooting steps.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
