Hi Everybody - I am absolutely done with HP after this.  The latest in the bizarre problems with this tablet: I sent it in for repair after updating to Bios 1.15 - big mistake b/c it caused the touchscreen problems again.

 

I got it repaired! Except that I didn't - they sent me back the tablet saying they repaired it but it still is slow to respond AND I had an Atom X5 8550 processor tablet.  They said they replaced the motherboard - and they sent me back an Atom X5 8500!!!!

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

Thanks - haven’t seen anything yet. The support center is now going to take it back and “fix” it again with the right processor. But this whole ongoing experience for over a year now has been ridiculous.
