Elite X2 1012 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just bought a new HP Elite x2 1012 G2 and it's a very nice looking machine and works well when plugged in. But I've noticed substantially quick battery drain, such as 5% every 16 minutes at times. I've also noticed that at night, even when the tablet is turned off, I'll find a 10% drop in battery readings by morning.

I did notice that at times the battery saving mode seems to do a great job initially for a short period of time. I updated the BIOS and all the firmware and software per the HP site. I'll be lucky to get 2-3 hours of battery life per session. Hopefully there is an answer or I'll need to call in for support to find out if it's just this device or, as it may seem, an issue with this model since others have reported similar problems but with no answer.
