HP Pro Tablet 608 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This is just a general question. Are there any bluetooth keyboards recommended for the Pro Tablet 608 G1? I'm looking for best choice by cost and reliability. My customer will need a keyboard that will pair easily and consistently with the tablet.

Logitech has many products

I know other vendors also use Logitech products but re-brand under their names.

I find keyboards for tablets are tricky.  Besides price and reliability, these also matter:

  • battery life and convenience of charging
  • does the keyboard pack nicely with the tablet for portability (clamshells seem ideal to me)
  • does the keyboard have all the keys you need?
  • does the keyboard support the tablet while in use?
  • do you need mouse-like functionality?

All the keyboards I've used are good at some of these and bad at others.

Before picking a keybord, think very carefully about your client's needs and how they wish to use the tablet.

I have a Logitech K480 (refurbished from NewEgg).  It is heavy and not very portable.  But it can support a tablet on a table and it can pair with multiple devices (it has a switch to select which device to talk to at any point in time).

I have Dell keyboard that matches my Venue 8 pro.  It is nicely portable but does not help support a tablet.  It fits in a case that does but that case isn't designed for the Pro Tablet 608 G1.  I have carried this.

All-in-all, my tablet keyboard experience hasn't been great but I don't imagine that it isays anything about your client's needs.
