In the past I was able to scan to email and then send the pdf. I can no longer send the scanned pdf - there is an error that states the app is not installed 

 

For now my workaround is to save the pdf and then email it. 

 

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app with no success

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the printer was working fine?
  • Are you able to print from the phone?

While you respond that, I recommend you enable the web services following the steps in the below article and check whether the issue is resolved.

Thanks, web services are enabled, I can print and scan from the phone just not able to send the scan via email. 

 

I think it's been about a month but I'm not absolutely sure
