I understand that your Slate 17 is not booting up and you have already done a Factory Reset.
Since the issue persists even after the Reset, please contact our Phone Support for Service Options
Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.
Well spotted HP. It is a Slate 17 not a 7! Read all the other threads on this problematic machine (Slate 17). We are all still waiting an answer on updated firmware that resolved the Google Play has stopped! I think the 4 business days for resolution is nearly up.
