Spectre x360

So I just bought an HP Spectre x360 yesterday and I am searching through youtube and getting to know my laptop all throughout. I've been looking all over the internet but I can't find an answer. Every time I place my hp pen in the front part of my keyboard, my computer goes into sleep mode. Is it supposed to do that? I didn't find any reviews over this function or any tutorials about it. Also, my pen came with the laptop, if that helps. Any other tips in regard to the laptop or pen please let me know!!!
