HP ENVY 7640

Trying to use the Smart Print App to print from my phone, if I am away from my printer. If I am out of town I need to be able to send things back to my printer. It says my printer is not available. If I am near my printer, it works fine on my wireless.

Print Anywhere is a feature of the HP Smart app. It lets you use your Android or iOS mobile device or Windows 10 computer to check printer status and send print jobs when you are away from your printer.

I have that app installed and it works fine if I am connected to my wireless router.

If I am not around my printer, such as in another state, I am unable to send files to my printer.
How can I do that?

You had said in a previous that the Envy 7640 was compatible with Print Anywhere. That post is now gone.

ePrint wants me to purchase something and enter my network information as if I'm a big company.
