Stop code: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

HP ENVY Laptop Model 13-ah0003na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After couple of minutes using the laptop the screen goes blue and it says: your laptop ran into a problem and needs to restart. We’re just collecting some error info, and then we will restart for you.

But when it’s 100% it never restarts. This is happening so often that it’s impossible to use the laptop.

@DavidNotes,

Thank you for posting this on HP Support Forums!

I reviewed your post and understand that you are getting blue screen error and unable to boot to windows. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

In this scenario, I would first suggest you run an extensive system test from F2(Please remember to capture the failure ID for further assistance).

If the test passes, I would suggest you try to do a system restore if the issue occurred to happen recently. For detailed instructions, please follow this link: Click here

If not, I would suggest you run the Windows update troubleshooter.

Download and install the troubleshooter from this link.

Now try to perform Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also ensure Windows is up to date.

Select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

that said, If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
