Hello everyone.
I tried to perform a factory reset on my device, but it got stuck at 54% and then interrupted by itself, saying that it couldn't complete the task. Now if I try to turn it on, it gets stuck on the HP logo and restarts itself in a loop. If I try to factory reset again, the above description happens again.
O.S. is Windows 10, BIOS says it's the factory installed O.S.
Product is HP Pavillion x2 Detachable - T9N86EA.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer if the factory reset option isn't working, would be to clean install W10.
With another Windows PC, you can use the media creation tool to create bootable W10 installation media.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

Hello Paul and thank you for you answer.
Yes, that is what I thought would be ideal to do, but I was worried about the issue of my device being essentially a Tablet that turns into a PC when attached to its keyboard.
Would it be a problem if I installed a clean version of WIn10?

You're very welcome.
The only potential issue I can come up with is the touchscreen may not work.
There are no standalone touchscreen drivers, so I don't know what you could do about that if the chipset and graphics drivers don't activate the touchscreen.
But it still beats having an expensive paperweight.

The only other option you have would be to have them pay for recovery media, and there is no guarantee that will work either.
49 Euros...
