HP stream 7 - 5709
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
HP, Whenever I touched the touchscreen to do something this morning on my HP Stream 7, it goes into power saver mode and then I have to tap my power button to get it back. Been doing it constantly all day. I've had this tablet for 2 yrs and I only spent $50-80 on this. How much would it cost to repair something like this? Thanks for your help!

And no recent hardware or software changes before this either!

Reason I asked about cost was because, yes, it's out of warranty. Thanks!

You might check your Power and Sleep settings to see if there is some setting in there causing this. There is an option there called "restore plan defaults" that might help.  Is the power adapter plugged in when it does this?  You might also check the Windows event logs to see if some error is logged when it goes to sleep.
