Hi. I'm using HP 250 G3 Notebook PC. I would to know if it is possible to upgrade my Celeron N2840 to a Pentium A1020 CPU? I would like for you guys to recommend a 8GB RAM that I should use for the laptop..

Thank you..

Welcome to HP Support Forum.  There are 2 components you wish to upgrade

1. CPU: No you can't, CPU is soldered to the motherboard. You need to buy new board WITH CPU and this is a very expensive upgrade. Buying new machine would be cheaper.

2. RAM: Your machine has 1 slot of RAM and can be upgraded to 8GB max using the following part:

        8-GB (PC3L, 12800, 1600-MHz) part # 693374-001

You can order from HP Part Store in your contry or try (normally cheaper):

Regards.
