HP 24fw

Hi. I recently acquired a HP 24fw monitor. It's great. However, I have one issue with it. I've noticed that, on some websites, videos do not play (as in, the audio plays fine, but the video is frozen at some initial frame) unless the laptop to which the monitor is connected is charging up. This happens regardless of the actual battery level of the laptop (a Lenovo Thinkpad, if it's of any help). Furthermore, it only happens on some websites -- for example, YouTube works fine, while Panopto (the video system used by my university for lecture recordings) is affected. It only happens if the window the video is playing in is particularly large -- for example, if I'm playing the video full screen. Does anyone have any clues? Thanks!

@pietro9 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the Video freezes on monitor unless the laptop is charging.

Please let us know is it happening without connecting the monitor. Means laptop screen freezing or not.

Please connect the different computers to the monitor and check if it is freezing.

Keep us posted,
