I have scanned a 15-page document using the HP Smart app. The scan completes and a preview is shown on my phone. When I click "save", the phone takes me to the recent files folder of my phone, but the scanned PDF is not there?
Is there another place to look?

I have gone through your Post and would like to help
Please check on your Phone if you have any Folder called as HP Scan
Also try scanning and emailing the PDF to your Email address to ensure the PDF file is infact getting scanned properly
