My hp laptop was working fine this morning but now will not connect to the internet. There is no WiFi option in the settings or anywhere please help. I’ve tried multiple trouble shooting methods none have worked.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the wireless option disappeared from the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Is the wireless card listed in the device manager?

Do you see the wireless icon at the bottom right of your computer screen?

Meanwhile, I recommend you download and install the wireless driver from the below link and check if it helps.

If you continue facing the issue, then run the network troubleshoot it will automatically find and fix the wireless issues.

Here is how it is done.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click on Update & Security.
  3. Click on Troubleshoot.
  4. Under the "Recommended troubleshooting" section, click the additional troubleshooters option.
  5. Under the "Get up and running" section, select the Internet connections troubleshooter.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
