Product: HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC
Failure ID: 9TS9XD-6T797X-MFPWWK-60WP03 says “Hard drive Short DST Check: Failed”

My laptop constantly crashed with BAD_POOL_CALL, I performed a RAM check with systems diagnostic, it came back with no problems and when it tried to start windows up it wouldn’t load. I tried all the options I could possibly do, when I finally went into UEFI setting (I believe it was), and ran a short test when this failure code showed up.

Any help would be great thank you kindly!

Most of the time the 24 char failure id indicates the HDD is failing and need to be replaced. Is it still under warranry ? If Yes, please call HP for a replacement.

It’s not, I just don’t understand how I could play games, write report use the internet, and everything perfectly fine until I checked it and suddenly the hard drive is just garbage, any other possible recovery solution you may know? I’ve tried resetting and everything but it loads for awhile and says it couldn’t perform this task.
