Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

hey, I do not know much about computers but my laptop has been making a buzzing sound that gets really loud at night as am trying to work, the sound is especially loud on the right-hand side of my laptop. I have no idea, what causes this sound and how to prevent it and I kindly need your assistance.
