HP Notebook - 15-bw094au
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i am a student and i bought a new laptop HP Notebook - 15-bw094au.first i installed windows10, 64 bit on it and download the drivers from hp and installed it.but i experienced some lag and slow performance.

THEN i did format and intalled windows 10 ,32 bit on my laptop,.but when i searched for drivers in hp support under my laptop name.

They have only one option of windows 10,64 bit drivers.will windows 10,64 bit drivers work on windows 10,32 bit?

@new11

Real drivers for 64 bit Operating systems won't install on 32 bit Operating systems and pop out error messages during the installation.

Hi,

Most drivers will not install as they will be for 64 bit system.

I would install Windows 64 bit and completly update the notebook (BIOS, drivers, Windows) and see if there is still lag. The 32 bit system will not even allow the use of the 4GB installed.

You could also consider replacing the mechanical hard drive with an SDD which would greatly improve everyday performance.

Hope it helps,

David
