Going through your post, I see that you are trying to connect your printer to the tablet. Your printer does not support wireless / wired network hence you cannot connect the printer to your tablet via the network.

But, if your tablet has Android operating system, then you can print using a USB On-The-Go (OTG) cable connected to your HP printer. You need to use the printer OTG cable to connect the printer and the tablet to print.
