what is the possible problem with my laptop having a light like thunder on the left side corner?  What causes it?  What is best solution.  Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Do you see that light when the computer is turned off?
  • Are you able to duplicate the issue on the BIOS screen as well?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.
