f870g dashcam

I have now tried 3 different dashcams and all have the same problem. The recordings are mostly of 8 - 10 seconds long although I have set the recording duration to 3 minutes. I can't believe that 3 different cams can be faulty.....

I understand you are in need of support,

I'll be glad to help you out, however, for an accurate solution I will need more details:

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

When was the last time it worked without these issues?

In the meantime, please try the steps mentioned below:

Goto menu, and restore factory defaults and try it once again. Follow this link for the user manual. 🙂

Please reply with the details for further assistance.

Eager to help!

Hi. I’m not entirely sure of the problem here, but when I bought my F870g after a couple of weeks use I experienced random length recordings i.e. 20s, 1:30, etc. After a little research I changed my micro SD card from Sandisk to Transcend. Recordings now working perfectly; months or reliability. Hope this is of some use.
Kind regards
