Product: Media Tech Tablet
Operating System: Android 8.0 Oreo and older

I'm trying to set up an Android 8.0 tablet to print to my HP Envy 5540 . The tablet hangs when it's trying to compiling results... which it has identified correctly... but no software/driver download ever happens.

I'd like for her to have printing capabilities installed when I present it to her for Christmas... but thus far... I'm stuck with it not wanting to cooperate.

I must admit that this is the very 1st Android machine/tablet I have ever messed with... and it's rather intimidating for a rather skilled Windows user... I'm ignorant about the Android system... so your advise/suggestions would certainly be appreciated.

Can you specify the model, like an SKU; number??

Manufacturer also?

 

Also I don't see any drivers/downloads for Android for a 5540 printer.

 

So expanded details please.
