For someone who is not 'tech savvy',what is the best way to print text messages from my phone? My printer is currently set up to my laptop wth USB cable & prints fine. I think I've actually researched too much bc now I'm more confused than ever! Lol pls help.

Hi @LisaC24,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you wanted to know how to print from your phone to your HP Deskjet F4100 All-in-One Printer.

Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.

And here are a few steps for you in the link: Printing With a USB OTG Cable (Android)

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.

I could not open the link. I did read about the USB OTG cable, but was unsure if that was something different than just a normal USB cable

Hi @LisaC24,

Thank you for your reply, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you wanted to know if the USB OTG cable is different than normal USB cable.

In the normal USB cable, you can connect the printer to the computer but in the USB OTG cable, you can connect the printer to the phone for printing.

You may check if you can open this link: http://hp.care/2s3shg3
