Can login with only one finger

HP Recommended

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am used to login my windows with my thumb and index finger. I found out I couldn't login with any of my fingers so I removed my fingerprint data and re-added my fingerprint data but it could only accept one finger. In the past, it would allow me to add other fingers but right now it isn't letting me to do so.

Which fingers you can register are something over which we have any control.

The software that reads the digital data from the fingerprint can either read it - or it cannot do so.

Try rubbing a bit of lotion on your hands to "raise" the finger prints - very dry fingers are not best for registering.

What else?

The process is "working", at least partially.

Clean the fingerprint sensor - tiny dirt bits might be obscuring your prints.
