I can't type "@" . Any suggestions?

ok, but more precisely.?
You can't get there where the button no longer works?
If you can use the other functions of the button, maybe it's just a problem of the combination to be made?
For example, my keyboard (desktop qwerty keyboard)
The [ 0 à @] key
Single press: "à"
Shift à : "0"
alt gr right à "@"
