G force gtx not working in omen laptop

I wonder if you could help me here, hp gurus!:-)

I have an omen laptop1 5-ax000na, with a Nvidia gforce gtx ant the gpu stoped working last week. I thought it was an issue with the latest window update, so I reinstall the SO, the Nvidia client and the latest drivers, but nothing seems to be working... Every time is the same. Start the laptop and the card has an exclamation mark in device management. Go to Nvidia client and new drivers are found. Install the driver, restart the laptop and  the card is not there when I right click in the desktop...

Sometimes I get a code 43 in device manager,  others windows stops the device because there was a problem...

Does anyone has any idea what else can I do? 

Can the gpu be broken? Can it be replaced if it is?

I understand that the graphics card is not working.


Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -


Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.


Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant. 
  2. Check for updates. 
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.  

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.


Please click to download the drivers.


Also, try to update the BIOS.
