Is the HP Stylus compatible with my touchscreen HP Envy? Model 15-aq104na

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Tried updates on Windows and drivers after reading a post on a few different steps that could be taken but cannot get the HP Stylus to work at all on my laptop...

I've tried two different pens and three different new batteries, but it's as reactive as me poking my screen with a toothpick 😞

Any help would be really appreciated (even if it's to tell me my laptop and my stylus aren't compatible!)

Under 'About' in Settings, my laptop says "Pen and Touch:  Touch support with 10 touch points" so I don't see what could be wrong...

Unfortunately...

I cannot find a compatible HP stylus / pen for this series in any of the resources to which I have access.

There could be one out there - but HP does not list any pen for this series.

HP does not provide us with any information for "not HP" pens.
