Printing .docx files

Hp app updated now .docx files are not supported

If the "app" to which you refer is the HP Smart Mobile application,

Then the documentation indicates that this is true: 

Word .docx files are not supported in HP Smart for Android.

I couldn't tell you whether this is an actual change from the way it has worked in the past.
