My HP w1907v LCD screen fails to work when connected to my Windows 10 notebook
Windows 10 is using standard pnp driver (which is updated)
Can only find drivers for old windows versions to the w1907v
Please provide windows 10 driver for HP w1907v
Go to Solution.
HP will not be providing updated (W10) drivers for that monitor because it was made prior to August of 2013.
You can use the Vista monitor driver by manually installing it as follows...I don't know if it will get your monitor to work, but it will install the driver.
I have zipped up and attached the Vista monitor driver below.
Unzip the file to its folder.
Do not do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager, click to expand the Monitors device manager category.
Click on the standard pnp monitor (you will have to determine which one is the notebook display and which one is the HP monitor).
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.
Then restart the PC.
