I got a new Samsung S21 Ultra and I'm interested to use it with the Elite Lapdock with Dex functionality. A friend of mine has been using a Lapdock with a Note device for a couple of years but he was able to update the drivers both wired and wireless since he had an Elite X3 device back then. He sold it a few months ago since he found no use for it any longer and the Lapdock hasn't had any new firmware updates for a couple of years already. So I would only be able to update the Lapdock firmware by getting a used Elite X3, which has become very rare and expensive to justify it's only use as a firmware update device for the Lapdock. HP should address this and give the chance for people to update the firmware drivers using either Android, iOS or Windows 10 since the Lapdock is still a relevant and useful device with the new Android devices that support a desktop experience such as Dex with the Samsung devices. If anyone has a way I could get the firmware drivers updated I could get a Lapdock which also are running out and becoming unicorns.
