@s_koroteev79,

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know how to update the tablet OS.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

HP provides OTA (over-the-air) updates for the Android operating system (OS) on your tablet. When your tablet is connected to the Internet, updates download automatically and prompt you to install.

If you want to know manually download and install the updates then you can download the latest version of Android available for your tablet from the below link.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

I have the same problem. When I go to HP support the only download available is the Support Assistant. Elsewhere on the forum someone has responded to the same problem about 3 years ago and said that HP never did an Android update for the Slate 7 2800 after 4.1.1. If I try to check for updates on the Slate, it says that it is up to date at version 4.1.1. but still shows the last check for update was 21/05/2016. If there is an update, what is the link to it? If there is not, then I am very disappointed with HP; the reason I bought HP was for reliability and sustained support, with the latter apparently being a misconception.

HP abandoned its entire line of Android devices years ago.

There are no updates available.  😞

HP Tablets were not a success, so they closed their tablet business. Unaware, I purchased an HP Slate 7 Voice Tab, when they were about to shut their tablet business and never got any update after kitkat, which in itself was highly unstable.

HP service center do not provide any help with the discontinued tablets.
