Hello!

My brother has this old tablet that isn't used anymore, an HP Slatebook x2. Interested in informatics, I was trying to install a more recent operating system on the tablet but rapidly found that there aren't many records discussing this subject online for this specific model. I would like to know if it really is impossible to install any kind of operating system, besides Android 4.3 that comes with the tablet, and if so, why?

If there is a way, I'm not worried about accidentally making the tablet useless, so I'd like to get the general steps of the process.

In my understanding, having a disk and USB port would be enough to install any operating system, but I must be terribly wrong. 

Any help would be immensely appreciated! 🙂
