My wireless headset the Poly- Savvi 440 receiver is blinking red.  I've tried holding the volume up until the white blinking light comes on and holding down the button on the receiver in hopes of a factory reset, but this has not worked.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this fixed?

Hi @Teresa6311, Welcome to the Poly HP Support Community.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Poly Savi 440 headset and the red blinking light on the receiver. This typically happens when the headset is no longer subscribed to the base station. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Steps to Re-establish Subscription:

  1. Power Cycle the Base Station: Unplug the base from the power outlet for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and allow it to power up fully.
  2. Enter Subscription Mode on the Base: Press and hold the subscription button on the base until the indicator light flashes red and green.
  3. Activate Subscription on the Headset: With the headset powered off, press and hold the volume up button until the headset indicator turns solid white, then release the button.
  4. Wait for Pairing: The base light should turn solid green, and the headset light should also turn solid green, indicating successful pairing.

Factory Reset (If Subscription Fails):

  1. Unplug the Base: Disconnect the base from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the Headset: Take the headset out of the base.
  3. Wait for 10 seconds: Let everything sit for a moment before reconnecting.
  4. Reconnect the Base: Plug the base station back in and follow the subscription steps again.

If the issue still persists, I would request you contact our HP Support, and our support engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link.
